ECB Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for cricket clubs and is licensed from Sport England as part of their wider Clubmark scheme.
ECB Clubmark shows that a club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means your club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.
A survey of clubs who accredited in 2018 showed that 98% of clubs believe the scheme is important to them as a club and will continue with accreditation in the future and 60% of clubs agreed that going through the accreditation process had improved them as a club.
To obtain accreditation, clubs are asked to provide evidence that they meet a series of criteria. This is done by loading evidence onto an online portal and by demonstrating good practice at a site visit conducted by an allocated Club Support Officer. A copy of the criteria can be found here.
Accreditation lasts for 3 years at which point the club will complete a re-accreditation exercise. In the intervening 2 years there is a requirement to complete an annual health check to maintain accreditation.
There are currently over 1750 accredited cricket clubs across England & Wales, with a further circa 250 working through the process. The list of accredited clubs as at 1st January 2019 can be found here.

The Enfield Dragons is Enfield cricket club thinking to the future, getting kids into sport, building friendships that can last a lifetime and giving something to the community.
We have players that have developed over the years from the early under 9's onwards, with some players having gone on to trails with Lancashire juniors.
The Dragons routinely meet every friday at Enfields ground where the juniors enjoy a great family atmosphere while learning in a fun way with their friends.
Each of the teams regularly play many of the other junior teams in the historic Lancashire league, building on team work and seeing that when its great to win its more important to have fun with your team.
So if you want to enjoy a warm and family friendly atmosphere why not come down on a friday night and join the "Enfield Team".
